The Willow Oak (MD) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated's name represents who we are as strong women of African descent committed to the educational, cultural, and civic advancement of Prince George's County.  Our name is derived from the Willow Oak tree which is the official tree of Prince George's County.

 

The Willow Oak (MD) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated embodies characteristics of the Willow Oak tree because we are strong and versatile women.  The investment in our community will contribute to the stability and economic growth of Prince George's County.  We are resilient like Willow Oak tree because we are intentional about demonstrating our ability to uplift our community through programming and outreach, even during unprecedented times. Our faith drives our commitment to collectively serve the community and our virtue sustains our sisterhood.
